Still Life Drawing
This week at nursery we have been creating still life drawings using the sunflowers as inspiration. The children have been observing the flowers carefully, noticing details such as petals, stems, and colours, whilst developing their mark-making skills and artistic expression through close observation.
Special Visit from Police Officer Nick
We had an exciting visit from Police Officer Nick, who talked to us about his important role in keeping everyone safe in our community. He shared a story with us and even let us try on his police hat, which the children absolutely loved! This visit helped children understand more about people who help us and their roles in our local area.
Police Officer Nick will be back in a few weeks so that the morning children can meet him too!
