Class 2 at Rosemary Nursery School has had a fantastic week, combining creativity, cooling down and bringing a much-loved story to life!

The children have been enjoying mark-making with paint sticks, exploring colour and movement in a really expressive way. With the warm weather continuing, water play has also featured heavily, giving the children a brilliant way to stay cool whilst having lots of fun.

The highlight of the week has to be how the children have brought their core book, Where the Wild Things Are, to life. They have been making their own boats and using them for role play, recreating Max’s journey across the sea to where the wild things are. It has been wonderful to see their imaginations running wild!
