It has been a memorable week in Red Class at The Limes, with the heatwave bringing some very fun ways to keep cool and a brilliant surprise visitor!
The children have been thinking about how to stay safe in the hot weather, and the highlight was definitely enjoying ice lollies in the garden and splashing around in a paddling pool. A very well deserved treat in the sunshine!
We also had a wonderful visit from a police officer this week, as part of the children’s learning about people who help us. As well as talking to the children about his job, he also read them their core book, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, which was a really special moment and one the children absolutely loved.
