Yellow Room at St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School has had a truly special week celebrating World Book Day, and we have been completely immersed in the wonderful world of storytelling!
The children have enjoyed stories from parent readers, familiar tales retold with love, and a really exciting visit from Year 3 children at St Werburgh’s Primary School, who came to read to the children out in the garden. It was such a lovely moment, and the children were absolutely captivated.
A huge thank you to everyone who dressed up and gave up their time to share a story this week. It really does make such a difference, and the children have loved every single moment.
