This week, both classes 1 and 2 have been getting in the festive spirit! We have listened to The Christmas Story, decorated our Christmas tree, wrapped gifts to go under it and explored the wonderful different textures and materials of the baubles and tinsel.
We also hosted a Stay and Play session where families can come and spend time with their children and make beautiful winter artwork using clay and natural evergreen. Families were then invited to watch their children sing some songs they have been practising and join in for a dance at the end.
We would like to wish our families that celebrate Christmas a very special holiday season and everyone a very peaceful and joyful two week break.
We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year. (Term starts on Tuesday 6th January.)
