The children in Green Class have been mark making in the foam! We made different marks and shapes using our hands and fingers, exploring the sensory properties of the foam whilst experimenting with different movements and patterns.
This tactile experience supports early mark-making development and helps children understand that their actions create visible results. Using hands and fingers in the foam develops fine motor control and creative expression whilst providing a fun, messy, and engaging way to explore making marks that will support future writing skills.
