We’ve been exploring watercolours on paper of different textures and experimenting with how much water to use, discovering how water affects paint and how different surfaces respond to the medium whilst developing artistic techniques and control.
After a few weeks of having a turn, the children are becoming confident with baking bread rolls, showing increased independence and skill in following the process from mixing to shaping whilst taking pride in creating food to share with friends.
We’ve been exploring shape, balance, and teamwork as we create together with giant wooden blocks, developing spatial awareness and collaborative building skills whilst learning about stability and construction through hands-on experimentation.
