We have been exploring capacity this week in Green Room, following an interest in children’s cups of milk last week! The children are really enjoying pouring and filling and emptying cups with coloured water, exploring the concepts of “full,” “empty,” and “nearly full” whilst discovering all things water. This hands-on mathematical exploration helps children understand volume and capacity through playful experimentation.
Request for Bottles
If you have any bottles at home, please can you bring them in next Monday to Green Room. We are looking for all shapes and sizes ideally to extend our capacity investigations!
