We have been reading our core book, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt,” and joining in with the story’s rhythm, developing musicality and language skills through its repetitive, chant-like structure, whilst building confidence to participate with familiar phrases and actions.

The children have been investigating playdough and how we can mould it, exploring its malleable properties whilst developing hand strength and fine motor control through squishing, rolling, pinching, and shaping.

We have been learning how to look after ourselves by getting a good night’s sleep. This personal, social, and health education helps children understand their own well-being and the importance of routines.
