Children in Green Room and Green 2 Room at The Limes have been busy getting the allotment ready for spring, and things are already looking beautiful!
The children have been planting radish, bean and pea seeds, learning about what plants need to grow and developing a real sense of care and responsibility for the natural world around them. Alongside the planting, the children have also been tidying the garden and preparing it for the warmer months ahead.
Keep an eye out when you next drop off or pick up, because you will be able to see the wonderful spring flowers outside the classrooms that the children have grown themselves.
