Autumn Fun and Teamwork
This week the children have loved working as a team to rake up big piles of leaves and then jump in them! This seasonal activity has encouraged cooperation and turn-taking whilst allowing children to experience the joy of autumn through physical play and sensory exploration.
Introducing Helicopter Stories
We’ve also introduced Helicopter Stories, where the children tell us a story for us all to perform on our special stage. This will happen every Wednesday and every child will get a turn to be the storyteller, developing their confidence, narrative skills, and creative expression whilst the group works together to bring their stories to life.
Welcome to Our Team
Finally, we’ve welcomed Jayne to our team, a warm and experienced practitioner who will be working every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with us. The children have already been enjoying getting to know her, and we’re delighted to have her as part of Willow Room!
