We have been reading our core book “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and exploring some props to tell the story, bringing the narrative to life through hands-on storytelling. This approach helps children understand sequence, character, and narrative structure whilst building confidence in retelling familiar tales.
The children have been creating some amazing things with junk modelling, transforming everyday materials into imaginative constructions whilst developing problem-solving skills and creative thinking. We have been developing gross motor skills by pulling heavy ropes in the garden, building strength and coordination through physical challenges that require teamwork and determination.
The children have also been building houses using big wooden blocks, exploring balance, structure, and spatial awareness through large-scale construction.
