The children in the Orange Room at St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School have had a wonderful week as we begin our preparations for Eid. It has been a joy to listen to the children share their excitement and talk about the different customs their families follow as they get ready for the festivities.

To help decorate the room for our upcoming celebrations, the children have been busy getting creative. They have been making their own beautiful Eid cards and colourful decorations, using their fine motor skills to design unique pieces for their homes and the classroom. We have also been using our circle times to talk about the special Eid party we are planning for next week.

In addition to our indoor preparations, we have been making the most of the lovely turn in the weather. As the days have become warmer, the children have enjoyed plenty of outdoor play in the nursery school garden. Whether they were exploring the equipment or engaging in imaginative games with their friends, the fresh air and sunshine have provided a fantastic backdrop for their physical development and social play.
