Yellow Room at St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School has had a lovely, full week with plenty of special moments to celebrate!

The children have been continuing with their core book, Maisy Goes to Bed, sharing their own bedtime routines and this week using scissors to create a cosy blanket for Maisy. It is a wonderful way to develop fine motor skills whilst keeping the children fully connected to the story.

With Mother’s Day coming up, the children have also been thinking about their mummies this week, talking about what makes them special and what they are good at. The children had so much to say, and all of that love and thought went into making a beautiful card to take home. We hope the mummies enjoy them!

The children have also begun making Eid decorations for their upcoming party, with some brilliant conversations happening as children share their own experiences of Ramadan and Eid with their friends. It is always so special to hear the children talking about what this time of year means to them and their families.
