We want to introduce you to a monthly support group for parents of medically complex and/or disabled children.
Navigation and Nurture is a regular space for practical and moral support for parents of children who face medical care requirements and/or possible life-long disability. For example, this might include learning/intellectual disabilities, mobility limitations, Down’s syndrome, a rare chromosome disorder or epilepsy, to name but a few conditions. If you are unsure whether your child fits the description, please be in touch!
The group is predominantly focused on those with children aged 0-5 who are new to being parents of a disabled child. However, many with older disabled children may well still be seeking support and learning how to navigate the system, so please come if you feel this group may be useful to you!
