Building Social Skills
This week the children have been learning how to take turns with their new friends, share their ideas, and listen to each other, developing the important social skills that help them work and play cooperatively whilst building positive relationships within the nursery community.
Shadow Play and Dear Zoo
Some children in Yellow Room have been noticing our shadows this week when the sun was shining, sparking curiosity about light and how shadows are created. We found the animals from our core book “Dear Zoo” to notice what happens when we move them, describe their features, and make marks, connecting our story to hands-on exploration and creative expression.
Grandparents Stay and Play
We also had our second grandparent stay and play session this week. We were very excited to have so many grandparents come to play, creating special memories and strengthening family connections. Thank you to all who came and played with us!
