This week in Class 1, we have been busy in the garden harvesting tiny potatoes and eating the last of the raspberries, enjoying the fruits of our gardening efforts whilst learning about where food comes from. The children have been watching the carrots grow bigger, observing how plants change and develop over time whilst building their understanding of growth and lifecycle.

We have also been digging for worms, discovering these important creatures that help keep our soil healthy. These hands-on gardening experiences connect children with nature whilst developing their knowledge of the natural world and the importance of caring for our environment.
