Bristol Parent Carer Forum has shared details of several upcoming sessions designed to support parents and carers of children with additional needs.

These sessions will cover a range of topics, including understanding how different needs can interact, exploring masking and ways to reduce the need for masking in everyday life, and learning about sensory and executive functioning differences. There will also be a session focused on dyslexia, helping families understand the signs, related neurodevelopmental differences, and practical ways to support reading, writing, spelling and maths at home.

Parents and carers are also invited to take part in a relaxed discussion about how their child is settling into school, the support they receive, and communication with school staff.

Full details can be found on the Bristol Parent Carer Forum website, which is linked below. You can also explore a wide range of all their upcoming events.
