There has been great excitement in the garden at The Limes Nursery School as returning children have enjoyed exploring the brand-new climbing equipment. The climbing stack has provided plenty of opportunities for children to challenge themselves, develop their physical skills and build their confidence as they climb, balance and discover all the different areas to explore.

The garden is continuing to grow and change, and children are looking forward to even more outdoor adventures soon. Next week, they will begin exploring the new giant sand pit, creating opportunities for imaginative play, problem solving and collaborative learning. The new teepees will also be arriving very soon, offering exciting new spaces for play and conversation.

Over at the allotment, children have been busy harvesting their potatoes. After carefully digging them up, they are now ready to peel, cook and taste next week. This hands-on experience helps children make connections between growing, preparing and enjoying food, while encouraging curiosity about the natural world.
