The summer holidays are over, and the children were excited to return to St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School. Orange Room has been full of smiles as we welcomed back familiar faces and introduced many children who have moved up from Yellow Room.
It has been lovely to see the children settling into their new environment, exploring the different activities available and becoming familiar with their new surroundings. Many children have been making new friendships, playing alongside each other and building confidence as they begin this exciting new chapter.
Exploring a new room helps children develop their independence, communication skills and sense of belonging. The children have shown great curiosity as they investigate resources, choose their own activities and learn about the daily routines in Orange Room.
We are looking forward to welcoming more new friends over the coming weeks and completing our class. We cannot wait to share more of our adventures with you throughout the term.
