Willow Room at The Limes Nursery School has been filled with joy this week as children and families came together to celebrate the end of a brilliant year with special picnics. It was a lovely opportunity to slow down, share food, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and happy environment.
The children took great delight in singing familiar songs, chatting with their friends and families, and enjoying the delicious food that everyone so kindly brought along. These moments supported their confidence and communication as they shared experiences and connected with others, building on the strong relationships that have developed throughout the year.
As the year comes to a close, it is a time of transition for many of the children. Those moving up to Green Class in September are showing they are ready for new challenges and experiences, approaching this next step with growing independence and curiosity. For those returning to Willow Room, there is much to look forward to as they continue their learning journey in a familiar and nurturing space.
