With warmer weather expected, we would like to share some helpful reminders for families to support children during periods of high temperatures. This guidance is designed to help children stay safe, comfortable and able to enjoy their time at nursery.
Parents and carers are encouraged to ensure children arrive prepared for the heat with suitable clothing and essentials that support their wellbeing throughout the day. The nursery team will also be taking additional steps to keep children safe, including providing regular opportunities for hydration, making use of shaded areas, and adjusting routines to avoid the hottest parts of the day.
