Coming up in May’s newsletter from St Werburghs Park Nursery School, you can read about a busy and active Term 5, with the children enjoying extended time in the garden, digging in the allotment and planting and caring for their vegetables, as well as a warm welcome to new friends and families who have joined the school this term.

In the Orange and Yellow rooms, the core book The Very Hungry Caterpillar has inspired a wonderful range of activities, including observing real caterpillars as they grow and develop, sequencing the story, tasting and cutting fruits from the book, and creating their own caterpillars and butterflies.

You can also read about the upcoming visits from local primary schools to support the children preparing to move into Reception, and look ahead to next term’s visit from Twinnies Petting Farm, as well as important dates including the July INSET afternoon closure.
