Red Class at The Limes has had a wonderfully imaginative week, with building and construction capturing the children’s interest in a big way!
Lots of children have been exploring magnetic shapes and other building resources, experimenting with how different structures fit together and testing out their own creative ideas. This kind of open-ended construction play is brilliant for early mathematical thinking, problem solving and spatial awareness.
The highlight of the week though has to be the jet packs! The children threw themselves into making their very own jet packs and then let their imaginations run wild, thinking about all the amazing places they could visit.
