Red Class at The Limes Nursery School have been enjoying celebrating Eid together. The children read stories about Eid and Ramadan and spent time thinking about what they could do as part of their celebration.
During the day, many of the children enjoyed sharing food and playing in the garden. Several children were also keen to have henna as part of the celebrations. These experiences supported children’s understanding of different celebrations and traditions, linking closely to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through Understanding the World and opportunities for social interaction.
