The children from both classes have been enjoying all weathers this week, experiencing the outdoors in rain and sunshine. They have been collecting the rain in pots, splashing and transporting the water from the puddles, working together as a team to create purposeful play and solve problems such as how to move water efficiently and where to pour it next.

The children have been discussing what happens when we add water to the mud and what creations we could make, exploring the properties of materials and how they change when combined whilst developing their scientific thinking and creativity.

We were delighted to see a double rainbow, discussing where the rainbow came from and where it goes as well as singing the rainbow song. This magical natural phenomenon sparked wonderful conversations about weather, light, and colour whilst inspiring music and movement as children celebrated this special sighting together.
