We have been reading our core book “Whatever Next” and acting out the story using props, bringing Baby Bear’s adventure to life through imaginative play. This active engagement with the narrative helps children develop comprehension and storytelling skills whilst building confidence in recreating familiar stories.

The children have been exploring the texture of clay, mixing it with water and creating clay paint, discovering how this material transforms and changes properties when liquid is added. We have been using paint to make marks in different ways, experimenting with various tools and techniques to create different effects whilst developing artistic expression and fine motor control.

We have been welcoming new children and families and supporting them to settle into nursery, creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and valued as they begin their early years journey with us.
