Class 1 at Rosemary Nursery School has welcomed everyone back from the two-week break and enjoyed hearing about their holidays.
The core book for the next two weeks is “Whatever Next” by Jill Murphy, about a bear who builds his own rocket and flies to the moon. This delightful story has captured the children’s imaginations and sparked curiosity about space exploration.
Class 1 has been following themes from the book and the children’s interests about space, the moon, the stars and flying rockets. These explorations provide wonderful opportunities for children to develop their understanding of the world, engage with scientific concepts and express their creativity through space-themed activities.
We wish everyone a happy new year, and we look forward to continuing these exciting space adventures with Class 1 throughout the coming weeks.
