Coming up in December’s newsletter from St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School you can read about the busy Term 2 the children have enjoyed, including celebrating World Nursery Rhyme week where children dressed up as their favourite nursery rhyme characters, and learning about road safety including how to stay safe on pavements and what traffic light colours mean.
The newsletter highlights the different activities across the rooms, with Orange room reading ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear’ and going on an animal hunt in the garden, whilst Yellow room visited the park to search for sharks whilst reading ‘Shark in the Park’.
You’ll find information about the school’s new website where you can see weekly class news, details about the Christmas parties that took place, and important reminders about the primary school application deadline of 15th January 2026. There’s also information about healthy eating in the early years, contact details for the governors, and a reminder that the school is nut-free.
