The children have loved honing their skills, hitting balls tied in the trees, which has provided excellent opportunities for turn-taking practice as they wait for their chance and cheer on their friends. We also worked as a team to clean some of the resources in the garden and from inside in our outdoor water area, developing their sense of responsibility and community care.

The children have shown a tremendous interest in being superheroes, using rainbow scarves as capes and exploring what happens when they jump, whilst watching their capes fly behind them. These activities support the Early Years Foundation Stage areas of Physical Development through gross motor skills and coordination, as well as Personal, Social, and Emotional Development through turn-taking, teamwork, and imaginative play.
