We have been enjoying lots of stories this week, with the children particularly loving reading “Lima’s Red Hot Chilli” and “How to Catch a Star.” These engaging books have sparked wonderful discussions and imaginative thinking amongst the children.

We have also started sharing our own stories in our core experience, helicopter stories, where children become the storytellers themselves. This storytelling approach supports the Early Years Foundation Stage areas of Communication and Language through narrative development and vocabulary extension, as well as Personal, Social, and Emotional Development, as children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through their own creative tales.
