This week in Class 1, we have been making the most of the sunny weather with lots of engaging outdoor activities. The children have been planting bulbs, learning about growth and seasonal changes, whilst also taking care of our environment by washing the bikes and keeping our outdoor equipment clean and ready for play.

We have been particularly excited watching our giant sunflower continue to grow and produce more flowers, providing wonderful opportunities for the children to observe nature’s changes over time. These outdoor experiences support the Early Years Foundation Stage area of Understanding the World through exploring the natural environment, and Physical Development through active outdoor play and fine motor skills during planting activities.
