Welcoming Our Community

This week has been wonderful as we’ve settled in our new children whilst warmly welcoming back our returning friends. It’s been lovely watching friendships form and seeing everyone become comfortable in our Willow Class community.

Discovering Autumn in the Garden

The children have been making the most of the beautiful autumn weather, spending time in our outdoor space and really engaging with the seasonal changes around them. They’ve particularly enjoyed listening to the wind rustling through the trees, developing their awareness of nature’s sounds and rhythms.

Physical Challenges and Climbing Adventures

Our children have been setting themselves exciting physical challenges this week, showing great determination with their climbing skills. They’ve been confidently using the A-frame equipment and have worked together to build impressively large structures using crates, demonstrating both their physical development and collaborative abilities.

Creative Expression Through Art

The children have shown a keen interest in exploring watercolours, which has linked beautifully with our current story, “Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?” by Eric Carle. This combination of art and literature has sparked wonderful conversations about colours and creativity whilst developing their fine motor skills.

What a busy and enriching week for our Willow Class children!
